When Neil starts mandatory Israeli military service at age 18 he has a completely sleepless night. When this becomes a recurring issue, his superiors arrange night duty so that he gets more opportunity for sleep. With even more time to ruminate, obsess, toss and turn - a fear develops that lasts for years.
